#OOTD Handbags! November 07 2014

I have learned that size (of your handbag) does matter! I love a cute clutch, but it can never hold all my essentials without it looking too bulky. On the other hand, with larger bags, I can never find ANYTHING when I'm looking for it. Ladies, look no further for the perfect size bag. Browse our new handbag collection for beautiful designs that are both roomy and functional. Stay posted for new handbag styles coming next week!

Handbag; Brown Quilted Messenger will be up next week! See Black Quilted Messenger for this style in Black.

Necklace; Turquoise Dreamcatcher Necklace-will be up next week!

Below I'm wearing our new Taupe Cowl Infinity scarf that I am a little obsessed with. It's super cozy and goes well with any outfit. I am also wearing our new burgundy weaved clutch which makes my outfit pop. Wear it as a clutch or a perfect crossbody! Check back next week with new scarf styles as well!

Happy Friday!

#OOTD Fall in Grey! October 10 2014

Lot's of trends this season - fall pastels, blues, plaids, wrap coats, tribal ponchos and my favorite: monochromatic grey! Everything grey! So easy to love a great neutral and it's easy to buy for mixing and matching.

My OOTD is this great light sweater with a pretty crisscross back (so many of these back details everywhere!), grey leggings and booties. I accessorized with our Dark Grey Sparkle Infinity and the Grey Wool Floppy Hat.

And there's lots more grey where that came from! Some other great mix and match grey and silver:

Grey Knit Hooded Inifinity

Grey Sparkle Knit Infinity

Silver Compass Necklace

Silver Link Statement

Silver Feather Hook Bangle

All new fall items are coming soon, check back next week!

A Day in the Life... a Designer! August 01 2014

Any artist will tell you there's ups and downs. One night I'll have 15 jobs with the deadline of tomorrow and no printer ink at 3AM, and another I'll be lying on the couch drawing my initials over and over wondering if my next paycheck will have any more than 2 digits. But my daily life consists of a rather fun place to work!

1. Wake up. Tea. Dress!

#ootd is one of my favorite Renewal pieces, the White Stone Geo Necklace, and the Burnished Gold Turquoise Feather Bangle.

2. Discuss designs and apparel client's would like to print. From the beginning of my day to the end, I'm thinking about sports, party, business and fashion logos.

3. Choose apparel. Getting the right company with the perfect textures, colors and look a client wants has been a big trial and error part of the job. I love getting to use new colors!

4. Choose media. One of my favorite parts of designing for apparel is being creative with all of the different methods of getting a logo to look it's best. Ink, embroidery, foil, glitter, rhinestones, studs, neons, so many to work with!

5. See the end result. For the prints we sell in store I get to see which designs sell best first hand.

6. And of course, the retail! Putting together outfits, designing visual displays, taking photos, updating the website and social media...

Work...What is work again??

And at the end of a good day, there's a show to be seen! Heading out to Nikon Jones Beach Theater tonight - stay tuned for a #tunesdaytuesday soon!

What to pack: Europe May 02 2014

Wanderlust (n): a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world. I'm always feeling it! I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow and have barely packed a thing. Leave it up to me to (over)pack just hours before leaving. So, the important question…what do I pack!? I have such a love/hate relationship with packing. I love packing my must-have's but on the other hand I also want to bring my entire wardrobe. Here are some of my essentials:

Necklace: Turquoise Geo Necklace Bracelet: Aztec Beaded Bracelet

Necklace: Dragonfly Pendant Necklace Bracelet: Aztec Stretch Bracelet

Earrings: Turquoise Teardrop Earrings  Bracelet: Mixed Bangle Set

Necklace: Honey Teardrop Necklace Bracelet: Brown Stone Bracelet

Necklace: Blue Quartz Ladder Necklace Ring: Crystal Teardrop Ring

Necklace: Mint and Pink Flower Statement Ring: Midi Gold Compass Ring

I am beyond excited to visit England and Portugal. I have been to England many times but this will be my first time traveling to Portugal and I feel like I've already fell in love. One of my favorite quotes by John Green is, "I'm in love with cities I've never been to and people I've never met."

Photos of my trip are to come!

Spring Cleaning March 27 2014

D.I.Y. Pants to Shorts

Of course our favorite time of year because it's all about reviving your old styles! I've been emptying my drawers and came across some jeans I just couldn't get rid of. They're an old straight leg that I never wear anymore, but with such a nice dark brown color, they needed to stay. So I cut them into shorts! The best part about cutting your own shorts is customizing. Cut more or less of an angle to flatter your shape, and create your perfect length.

Use safety pins to mark where to want to cut. Start thinking long, since you can't go back after cutting them too short. I measured 4" down the inseam. Tighter jeans make for better short shorts.

Once you've pinned the inseam, use the ruler match the angle of the waistline and pin the other side.

Use chalk or charcoal to make a rough line.

And go for it! Roll over once about a 1/2" to cuff. Try them on and adjust.

If you want to keep them cuffed, make a few stitches up the side seams and iron them down. Throw them in the wash to fray!

The perfect pair to fulfill my obsession with green and brown. This embroidered top had great touches of gold to go with our new Dragonfly Pendant necklace, a piece from our spring items to come soon... once we are through with spring cleaning!

Pretty Pastels March 21 2014

For this weeks blog post, I wanted to showcase one of my favorite (new!) necklaces we just got in. This necklace is perfect for adding pretty pastels to your outfit with colors of mint, apricot, and ivory. Can't decide whether it should be worn during the day or at night? Here's how to wear our pastel statement necklace for both the day and night.

The color pallet for my day outfit are pastels and neutral colors. I'm wearing blush pink jeans, a white top and a beige cardigan.

My night outfit is still girly yet edgy with wax leather jeans and a black chiffon top.

Stay tuned next week for our new spring and summer jewelry!

A Wanderluster's Picks March 14 2014

As much as I love to be wanderlust, the actual traveling part is not my strong point. In fact, my fear of flying determines all of my trip decisions. When I do fly, I have to plan every detail. Organization is key when it comes to anxious traveling.

Layering is a must when you’re going from cold to warm, and comfort is a big deal when you’re about to sit for hours. Here’s my absolute favorite picks for traveling - ultimate comfort and style! And a few pretty little places from my trip ~

I got a light faux leather jacket and layered with American Apparel - most comfortable hoodies and tees! American Apparel is carried everywhere, easy find, and has the best fitting plain solids and new heathered styles.

Vintage Havana sweats - no matter the style, I could live in their sweatpants.

And of course, can't forget the new lucky scarf!

Travel well!

Colors of Spring February 28 2014

Mint and coral are in!

March is just about here and it's still freezing, which makes it the perfect time to take a trip somewhere warm. I've been putting together spring outfits for Florida next week, and going from 12° to 75° weather is just making me more excited for spring and all the colors it comes with.

Here's a couple pieces of coral and mint to mix and match on my trip. It was a rough winter and spring has never looked better!

Coral Beaded Statement, Mixed Bangles with a pretty mint top, high waist shorts and an ivory crochet cover.

Mint Shimmer Statement, Turquoise Drop Earrings, Ivory Infinity Bracelet, Turquoise Stud Watch Bracelet with a coral dress.

We've got some new light scarves in! Here are a couple of my favorites in coral and mint, and check out the others at our new page

Coral Lace Lightweight Infinity

Mint Embroidered Lightweight Infinity

Vacation with some nice light scarves or get ready for spring. Can't come soon enough!
