Nature Inspired Decor January 09 2014

Decorating my room to me is ever changing. I'm always adding new things to it. I have always loved nature inspired room decor. It's beautiful. There is so much creativity and beauty found by just taking a walk outside.
However, its freezing which means less time outdoors.
Newest to my room are these amazing shelves made by my talented boyfriend. I couldn't have gotten these gifts at a better time because I've been trying to think of a way to add a touch of nature into my room. These shelves did just that.

They are perfect for showcasing my prettiest pieces.

(from left to right; Mint Shimmer Statement Necklace; Kelly Green Leaf Bracelet; Gold Hammered Statement Necklace)

This ring holder and jewelry box were also hand made gifts.

What I love most about this little jewelry box is that it has a peso from our trip to Mexico. All of these creations are amazing (and encourages my jewelry addiction)… I now have new places to put my treasured pieces.

I can't wait until it get just a little bit warmer so I can explore outside for new nature inspired room decor!

Knee High Socks November 13 2013

I immediately think of Cher from Clueless when it comes to knee high socks.

Knee high socks are everywhere this season and I love it. They are simple yet feminine and sweet. However, knee high socks can be difficult to style. You can wear knee highs over tights, with a dress, skirt or shorts. I would even throw on a pair of converse with knee high socks for a more casual look. Below are some ways I wore knee high socks.

Mix it up with our Ivory Feather Necklace (coming soon!), Black and White Leaf Bracelet (coming soon!), Cross Midi Ring and Gold Arrow Ring for a boho look!

Nail Art: Tribal November 01 2013

Aztec and tribal prints have been so popular lately for fall clothes, jewelry, shoes, scarves etc. I'm all about different geometric shapes and colors which is my inspiration for my hand crafted jewelry line, Renewal. Since the aztec and tribal print are everywhere, why not try it on your nails?

Here's what you need:

Nail polish(s)
Nail polish remover (to remove any mistakes)
Nail art polish (with thin brush)
Top coat (to seal your artwork!)

The best part of this print is that there are so many different patterns, shapes and colors you can choose from... get creative with it!
